1 BOOKING/PAYMENT/CANCELLATION/REFUND GUIDELINES FOR PRIVATE AND GROUP MEMBERS

  • Members are reminded that the definition of a member is :

  • Private Member - a shareholder, partner and children of that shareholder

  • Group Member - a Tertiary School shareholder (RMIT) and includes students and staff of RMIT. Student and Staff Identification number will be required to be submitted when making a booking. Please ensure RMIT ID card is carried with you on the mountain for Lodge Manager to check and verify identification when staying at the lodge. Otherwise full non-member rate will be applied

  • The Member Rate for accommodation may only be used for people who are defined as Members.

  • Bookings will only be accepted via the on-line booking system accessible from Preston Ski Club web site: www.prestonlodge.com.au. All queries are to be directed to the Booking Officer via email.

  • All Bookings will require immediate payment via credit card using On-Line booking system to confirm booking and payment.

  • The maximum No. of beds allocated to a private member for any weekend will be (12) beds (ie. Max Two rooms) unless by special arrangement via email with the Booking Office.

  • All non-member guests must be charged at either the “members friend rate or full non-member rate”

  • The members friends rate will only apply to bookings where the member is present at the lodge.

  • Members are reminded that they are responsible for the payment of guests and for guest behavior while at the lodge.

  • Bookings are by the bed. To ensure lodge resources are fully utilized a double bed cannot be booked at single bed tariff rate.

  • Booking dates need to reflect the nights you want to stay. Weekend nights are Friday and Saturday; midweek nights are Sunday to Thursday. You cannot just book (1) night in a weekend during ski season, you must book both Friday and Saturday.

  • Instructions on how to use the On-line Booking System to check availability, make a booking and process payment as other functionality can be read and/or downloaded from within the Preston Ski Club web-site menu item "Bookings"

 

Members (Private and Group) Cancellation and Refund policy.

  • All bookings can be cancelled via “On-line” booking system. A full refund of any monies paid will be made available when cancellation notice is received 28 days or more in advance of arrival date. If less than 28 days’ notice is given refunds will only be given if all beds are on-sold less a handling fee of $50 per booking.

Mt Buller Ski Guarantee Policy (Not Applicable to Preston Lodge)
Preston lodge does not guarantee snow conditions, weather, or road conditions. Bookingsmade at Preston lodge are not eligible for the Mt Buller Ski Guarantee Policy. We encourage all people staying at the lodge to take out private holiday / travel insurance to cover unforeseen illness or cancellations.

  • Bookings will only be accepted via the on-line booking system accessible from Preston Ski Club web site: www.prestonlodge.com.au. All queries can be directed to the booking officer via email.

  • Bookings will require immediate payment via credit card using On Line Booking system to confirm booking.

  • The maximum No. of beds allocated for any weekend will be 6 beds (ie. One room) unless by special arrangement via e mail with the booking officer.

  • All non-member guests will be charged at full non-member rate.

  • Bookings are by the bed. To ensure lodge resources are fully utilized a double bed cannot be booked at single bed tariff rate.

3 BOOKING/PAYMENT/CANCELLATION/REFUND GUIDELINES FOR SCHOOL GROUPS

  • Bookings will only beaccepted via email to: prestonalpinelodge@bigpond.com. Bookings made during the ski season will require immediate payment via credit card to confirm booking (see payment details below).

  • For advance bookings to be confirmed a 25% deposit is to be paid by “due date” on invoice. Booking dates may be on sold if payment is not received by this date.

  • Full payment is due 28 days prior to arrival date otherwise booking will be forfeited and on sold.

  • All bookings cancelled must be advised via e mail, to the booking officer. Cancellation made 28 days or less from arrival date, will result in forfeiture of all monies paid. Refunds will only be given if all beds are on-sold less a handling fee of $50 per booking

  • Payments are to be made with credit card via Preston Si Club web site (On Line Booking system) or by direct bank transfer per BSB and Account details listed on invoice.

  • School Group administration making the booking are reminded they are responsible for the payment of guests and their behavior while at the lodge.

CLEANING LEVY 

All Guests staying at the lodge must be prepared to pay a cleaning levy of $50 if they are sick on the premises from excess alcohol consumption.

ALL PERSONS ENTER THE LODGE AT THEIR OWN RISK, AND PRESTON ALPINE LODGE (INC) ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OR THEFT OF PROPERTY.
